Our Roads<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Board is still actively pursuing additional road funding from Wayne County to get the last bad sections of roads replaced.\u00a0\u00a0So far the Board has been able to get about 2\/3 of the roads needing replacement repaired at no cost to the residents.\u00a0\u00a0This is about $1,000,000 worth of repairs.\u00a0\u00a0This didn\u2019t happen as a matter of chance.\u00a0\u00a0There were 3 or 4 subs in Northville slated for work by Wayne County ahead of the Hills of Crestwood.\u00a0\u00a0But due to the HOC Road Committee\u2019s persistence, we were able to get two large projects of repair work done.\u00a0\u00a0We even were able to obtain some work in 2020 after huge budgets cuts by the County.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To help us maintain our momentum, please call and report any road issues to the County at 888-ROADCREW.\u00a0\u00a0We are hopeful that we can get the last sections done with public money.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Welcome to our neighborhood! \u00a0The Hills of Crestwood, originally called Crestwood Manor Subdivision, was established in 1989. The subdivision was created in two phases, and was substantially completed in 1999. We are a community of 169 homes, and The Hills of Crestwood Homeowners Association wants to keep it a great place to live!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The subdivision also contains an historic log cabin. \u00a0It was constructed for the Grennan family of Farm Crest Dairy farms to resemble a western ranch.<\/p>\n

Our neighborhood includes part of Johnson Creek, its wetlands, and a nature preserve. \u00a0According to the MDEQ, Johnson Creek is the only designated trout stream in the Rouge River Watershed and in Wayne County! \u00a0The creek flows eastward through our neighborhood into Fish Hatchery Park, on its way to the city of Northville. \u00a0It then connects to the Middle Rouge River east of Northville Road.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nearby, we can enjoy the ammenities of Hines Drive, Maybury State Park, and Northville Community Park and Millenium Park. \u00a0The City of Northville is just a short bike ride away, as is Northville High School. \u00a0The Northville Township Hall and Northville Township Fire Department are close at hand, too. \u00a0What a great place to live!<\/span><\/p>\n
